Hello, I'm William Busch, and I'm honored to serve as an MPD Coach with The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry. My journey in ministry spans nearly four decades, beginning with my graduation from Baptist Bible College with a BS in Theology in 1988.
My wife Kathy and I felt God's call to international ministry early in our marriage, leading us to Germany, where we served as missionaries for 29 transformative years. During our time there, we had the privilege of planting two churches and training Christian leaders throughout Europe. What made our ministry unique was my dual role—while serving in church planting, I also taught Electrical Engineering at Dresden Technical University for nine years and provided leadership training for business professionals across Europe.
In 2017, recognizing the changing landscape of ministry and technology, I earned a second bachelor's degree in Computer Science, specializing in Networking and Information Systems Security. This additional expertise has proven invaluable in today's digital ministry environment.
Transition to MPD Coaching
After returning to the United States, I was invited in December 2018 to lead a church facing closure. Through God's grace and strategic revitalization efforts, we were able to breathe new life into that congregation—an experience that deepened my passion for equipping others for effective ministry.
Since December 2022, I've been serving in my current role as MPD Coach with The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry. This position perfectly combines my heart for international ministry with my experience in training and development. I mentor and train FOI's international representatives, helping them establish strong ministry partnerships for both prayer and financial support. My decades of cross-cultural experience enable me to help these dedicated servants navigate cultural differences effectively as they seek support for Jewish ministries worldwide.
My Dual Calling
What makes my role unique is that I serve in a dual capacity. Not only do I coach and train our international representatives, but I also actively develop my own prayer and financial partnership team to support this coaching ministry. Through Ministry Partnership Development (MPD), I continually build relationships with individuals and churches that share our heart for Jewish ministry and desire to invest in multiplying gospel impact globally.
Personal Life & Passion
Kathy and I have been blessed with 39 years of marriage and are proud parents of four children—three sons and one daughter. My greatest passion is training and equipping others to serve God with intent and clear strategy, leveraging everything I've learned through ministry leadership, education, and international development.
Every day, I'm reminded that when we invest in training one international representative, we're actually investing in the countless lives they'll touch with the Gospel message and Biblical truth about Israel and the Messiah. That's the multiplication power that drives my commitment to both coaching excellence and partnership development.
