Spiritual Gratitude in an Age of Division
Spiritual Gratitude in an Age of Division
When geopolitical conflicts dominate the news, it is easy for Christians to view global events through a purely political lens. Yet Paul offers believers a radically different framework-one rooted in deep spiritual gratitude.
In Eastern Europe, a national representative named Tim leads summer Bible camps and community projects that bring practical Christian love into places marked by historical trauma. Recently, during a historical commemoration, Tim reconnected with Elizabeth, a visiting Jewish woman. Standing alongside believers singing songs of encouragement, she was visibly moved and shared that she had never experienced Christians showing such genuine, unconditional love toward her people.
In Romans 15:27, Paul explains that Gentile believers are spiritual debtors to the Jewish people. God used them to give us the Scriptures, the patriarchs, and Messiah Himself. Showing practical love isn't political favoritism; it is genuine spiritual gratitude.
How You Can Pray:
- Pray for Elizabeth and others like her, that the love shown by believers will draw them to know Messiah personally.
- Pray for Tim as he coordinates summer camps and local outreach across Eastern Europe.
My coaching ministry equips national reps like Tim to build locally supported teams, ensuring frontline work stays resilient amid global uncertainty.
